Welcome Home Sasha!!! Yes we are all finally united as a family! It seemed like forever until we landed in the U.S.A. but we were ready to kiss the ground once we did. We handed the official sealed brown envelope (which we were told not to open, bend or harm in any way) to the customs officials at which time Sasha became a U.S. citizen! What a relief! Sasha did as well as could be expected on the long flight from China, but started screaming once we got on the LA flight. Every 15 minutes or so she would wake up from her sleep and cry really hard for two or three minutes and then fall back asleep. She did that the entire 4 hours of the trip - no rest for Mom that flight! The other people on the plane probably loved us!!! The Atlanta home leg she did just fine!

We could hardly stand it when we landed in Dayton we were so excited. I was shaking with anticipation I was so anxious to see Brady and Mikelle. It was beautiful how Sasha took to them both, but noone else! God is so amazing as this has been one of our prayers throughout our adoption process!

We are adjusting to the newness of everything and trying to get back on schedule. But for now we once again must give Jesus Christ all the glory for this great thing He has done for us! He is amazing and wonderful in all things and we are blessed indeed!

My special friend Michelle travelled this same journey last October with her husband Bryan to bring home their precious little Malia. She has blessed us with the following slideshow of our journey home.

“…He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6

It was a looooooong flight home. China to Los Angeles wasn't so bad, but I screamed must of the trip from L.A. to Atlanta. I really don't know why though!
